Today we presented the outcome of our Locator project. Lucy, Fiyin, Karen, Emma and I worked together. Our project is based on distance and bearings as locators. The distance from the set location, and the compass direction which helps you make sure you are walking in the right direction.
The idea behind our project is, a friend group use our app. One person from the group, the admin, sets the location and only this person knows where everyone is meeting up. All the users real time location is displayed on our circle interface. Their distance is displayed on the radius. The closer to the centre of the circle, the closer to the location. The user needs to move around in real life to find the location set.
We proposed our project to our web interface to Winona and Tong. They were tasked to get to the location without our help. They used our interface to help find the place.
